Tuesday Top 10 #3

I'm so excited to be back with another Tuesday Top 10 with items perfect for spring! I'm absolutely loving all the trends lately and can't wait to share them all with you! Let's get started:

tuesday top 10 #3

1. "Wish You Were Here" Sun Hat: I must say this would make for some great Instagram pictures... anyways though this would be so cute for beach days to keep your face protected from the sun and would even be cute with a sundress.

2. Silk Romper: I love not only the style of this romper but also the floral pattern, perfect for walking around the city or for a spring date.

3. Tassel Lace-Up Sandals: Lace up has been a huge trend for multiple seasons now and I love that these sandals would add a pop of color to any outfit.

4. Lilly Pulitzer 'Enna" Top: This is probably my favorite item out of the 10 and the one I'm most likely going to buy. Off the shoulder is super trendy and I love that this is white making it super versatile.

5. Heeled Sandal: These would be perfect with a dress or even jeans! They're a bit more fancy than a flat sandal but more causal than wedges, making them a perfect go to sandal for spring and summer.

6. Benefit Highlighter: Highlighting has been huge lately and this creamy highlighter will be perfect for the spring and summer months.

7. Mirrored Sunglasses: Mirrored sunglasses have been huge and I love that these aren't aviators. I'm a huge fan of tortoise shell sunglasses, so I'm obsessed with these.

8. Lace Up Heels: I love that these are super chunky and seem more comfortable and somewhat more causal than the pink pair due to the chunky heel. This nude color is much more wearable thank the pink and will even be good to transition into fall.

9. Tassel Beach Shorts: Tassels have also been huge lately and I love that these shorts incorporate the trend. They'd be perfect to throw over a bathing suit for a day at the pool or the beach.

10. Scalloped Bikini: Although this may give you some weird tan lines, it's still so cute. Not only do I love the color, but I also love that it's scalloped and a halter top.

Tuesday Top Ten #2

Spring is right around the corner whether you can believe it or not. Here's some things I have my eyes on that you should too:

tuesday top 10

1. I love these that incorporate the lace up trend, perfect for spring.

2. Every spring outfit needs a pop of color and I love this Tory Burch bag in a robin egg blue color.

3. I'm in love with basics, and this shirt from J. Crew is no different. I love this dusty rose t-shirt that will be in style for years to come.

4. I love stripes and this tunic would be perfect for the summer -especially on Patriotic holidays and for Red Sox games.

5. I've been looking for a pair of boyfriend jeans for awhile now because mine just don't seem to fit right. I love that American Eagle calls these jeans tomgirl jeans instead of boyfriend jeans.

6. J. Crew Factory seems to have a similar variation to these sandals every summer, yet I haven't bought a pair. This spring/summer may be the year I finally buy a pair.

7. For some reason, I just really like this purse charm to add a pop to any purse and/or outfit.

8. I love the lace up flats trend and these are the perfect pair for the spring due to the dusty pink color.

9. I love statement earrings and this pair is no different.

10. I've been seeing tons of bloggers post about this clutch and I can't keep my eye off of it.

Tuesday's Top Ten #1

As chillier weather and the holidays approach, here's this weeks top 10! This is a new series I'm trying out on my blog so let me know what you think in the comments below!

1. Fringe Clutch: trendier than the typical clutch & can be worn as a cross body on an everyday basis

2. Blanket Scarf: not the typical plaid blanket scarf, but still perfect for the chillier months that are coming whether it's worn with a coat or just a sweater

3. Sleeveless Dress: can easily be dressed up or down for class, going out, or the holidays & an easy piece to layer with

4. Sleeveless Turtleneck: wear it with a light jacket before it gets too cold up North or wear it on its own while it's still warm in the South, also perfect for holiday events

5. Vegan Weekender: perfect for long weekends and packing to go home or on trips for the upcoming holiday season (under $70!)

6. Ankle Booties: fall essential for all outfits, dress them up with a dress or pair them with a flannel and jeans for a more causal outfit

7. Plaid Wool Coat: stand out in the chillier weather without sacrificing on warmth

8. Maroon Jacket: an everyday jacket that's not the typical army green jacket everyone seems to have

9. Metallic Loafers: spice up your professional outfit without sacrificing on practicality and they are still something you can wear on a daily basis

10. Round Sunglasses: try these sunglasses instead of the summer wayfarer and aviators, the tortoise shell incorporates fall colors perfectly

colors may be different than originally shown, however, original colors may still be available on the website

Summer Wedges Under $100

I'm all about saving money, if you haven't realized, so I've decided to share with you my picks for summer wedges under $100 and the perfect pair if you do want to invest. Since wedges aren't shoes most people wear daily, I don't think you necessarily need to invest in an expensive pair, especially since they are seasonal. Here's my top 9 picks broken down into 3 different categories:

summer wedges

my favorites are 1, 6, & 7

Casual:
1. Daisy Chains Natural Tan Wedge Sandals: I find these really similar to Tory Burch wedges (my #1 pair of wedges to invest in), but these are a fraction of the price! The wood like platform keeps them super casual and perfect as your go to casual sandal.

2. Steve Madden Women's Esme Wedges: I think cork platform wedges are perfect for summer. The cork keeps them super casual and the double strap is simple yet classic for a casual sandal.

3. Charlotte Russe Gold Ankle Strap Espadrille Wedge Sandals: I decided to include this metallic pair, because metallic is very trendy for the summer. I thought this was a casual metallic since they are only metallic on the strap rather than the entire wedge. These remind me of the Lilly for Target wedges that came out earlier this spring!

Formal:
4. Vince Camuto Nina Wedge: I wouldn't say these are the most practical shoes to buy for formal events since they are blingy. However, they'll definitely be a statement and good for formal events more at a high school level.

5. Call it SPRING Fralirien Women's Wedge Shoes: These are super neutral and could easily be transitioned into the fall. These wedges lack the wood or cork platform which I think makes them more formal and not quite as casual.

6. MICHAEL Michael Kors 'Posey' Espadrille Wedge Sandal: I think these shoes look like they are excellent quality, which I think makes them a bit more formal. Instead of the wooden or cork platform, it's instead woven with two leather straps that I think are the perfect color. These are a great versatile item that could be dressed down and made more casual.

Bold:
7. High Jinks Leopard Platform Wedge Sandals: I love that these are super neutral despite being a little bit more bold. I think cheetah is the perfect way to make a statement with a pattern, and is an easy pattern to style. I think cheetah can easily be mixed & matched with other patterns, making these a great pair of wedges to have for summer. I think these could easily be dressed up with a little black dress or dressed down with black skinnys.

8. Jessica Simpson Eila Light Luggage Leather Platform Wedges: These are extremely bold with the patterned platform. I like how they used the platform to make a statement rather than typically adding the statement to the straps.

9. Steve Madden Women's Binty Wedges: I love these floral wedges because they have the perfect amount of floral. Sometimes designers go over board by making the entire wedge floral, but I think these were done very tastefully.

wedges to invest in

When I first saw these wedges on tumblr, I fell in love. I love how these could easy be worn with a dress to a more formal occasion or dressed down with white pants for a casual dinner. These will make you look put together with the perfect amount of detail. Tory Burch really nailed it with these wedges with the perfect amount of detail in the straps and keeping the classic cork platform. If you are looking to invest this summer on wedges, I don't think you could go wrong with these!
